Secret Satan — Northern Folklore Archive

We’re inviting independent artists, creatives and small businesses who offer physical products to join using the form below. On December 1st, you will be drawn a random other artist, creative or small business to send a little gift from your business to. And you, too, will receive a gift!

We are also offering you the chance to give to someone who is in need this Christmas with an optional money donation. All money donations will be gathered and sent to a chosen charity. To ensure delivery costs are at a minimum, unfortunately we will only be opening the Secret Satan to U.K. residents.

You must be an artist, creative or small business that has a physical product to offer. We will not accept AI generated art/products, this is for humans by humans!

Below there is a form to fill out to join Northern Folklore Archive’s 2026 Secret Satan. This will include personal info, such as your address, so be sure you’re okay with this information being shared with your nominated Secret Sataner!
On the form, will be a section where you can offer your optional money donation (however much you want to give!) to this year’s chosen charity. This is optional, and you do not have to donate to join in.
You have until November 27th to join Northern Folklore Archive’s 2026 Secret Satan.
We will then randomly assign you an artist, creative or small business who has also joined. You will receive this info through email on December 1st.
Obviously, please make sure you send your gift to your nominated Secret Sataner before Christmas!
On December 1st, we will also announce the chosen charity and how much we’ve managed to raise for them.
On the sign up form, there will be a section for charities. Feel free to nominate a charity to be chosen for Northern Folklore Archive’s 2026 Secret Satan!
We hope to do this each year, depending on its popularity this year, so hopefully we will have many more years of opportunity to give back to many different charities.
If you are a charity, you can also head to the form for Secret Satan and you will find the section of the form where you can apply to be this year’s charity of choice.
